Tarpy's Rooms
Tarpy’s Roadhouse offers a full-service banquet department. There are three private rooms as well as three semi-private rooms to choose from when planning your special event or function. Some rooms are subject to a room fee. We also have available the latest Multi-Media tools to add polish to your event!
The Tack RoomThis private room is located right outside the front door and is perfect for smaller parties or business meetings for up to 16 guests. The Tack room is about 182sf. and can accommodate one long table for 12, a U-shaped table for 12 or four 4-tops. |
The Stone RoomIs the first room when you enter the restaurant. It houses our full service bar & wine cave. Constructed of Carmel River stone with a ceiling of massive beams, it's a dramatic, lively semi-private setting for up to 30 guests. |
The Shell RoomThis cozy, semi-private room adjacent to our main dining room is a delightful space for birthday parties or showers. Its ambience is enhanced by the whimsical shell fireplace, great light and patio views. The Shell Room is approximately 208sf. and is perfect with two long tables and seats up to 22 guests. |

The Living RoomLocated in the front of the restaurant with windows that open up onto the porch and a working fireplace it accommodates up to 60 guests comfortably. |
The Vintner's RoomThis bright room overlooks the picturesque gardens and wishing well. The Vintner’s Room includes two walls of windows, a large wine display and is one of our most popular. It’s about 321sf. and can accommodate up to 32 people in a variety of table configurations. We can also combine the Vintner’s with Sarah’s Room and seat up to 60. |
Sarah’s RoomSarah’s Room is named after a woman who played a big part in the Matt Tarpy saga. It’s a semi-private room comprised of about 307sf. and seats about 28 comfortably. It’s often used in conjunction with the Vintner’s Room with capacity increasing to 60 when they’re used together. |

The Front PorchArched seating area overlooking the wishing well and the front gardens. Semi-private it seats about 26 guests and can be used in combination with The Living Room and Sara's Room. Although outside, it can been closed and has heaters. |
The CourtyardOur beautifully landscaped courtyard is a delightful spot for cocktail parties, weddings, sunny luncheons or dining under the stars. This lovely space is surrounded by lush gardens and has a decidedly “European” feel. Tarpy’s Courtyard is about 900sf and can accommodate up to 80 people seated and standing receptions for up to 120. We have heaters and can a variety of different table configurations. |
The LibraryThis private section of Tarpy’s is comprised of an 847sf. indoor dining room, a covered alcove housing the bar and an additional 320sf. space that can be used for dancing or al-fresco dining. The Library is perfect for sit-down parties inside of up to 80 guests and cocktail parties or standing receptions for up to 100. When the outside space is used for dining, seated capacity grows to 100 and standing capacity grows to 125. With a fireplace, great art and a private garden patio, the Library is the ideal venue for your party, seminar or wedding. Start with cocktails and appetizers on the patio and retreat to the warmth of the fire-lit Library for dinner. How about a unique business meeting or all-day seminar starting with a continental breakfast? We have complete A/V services available and will tailor the Library to fit your needs. |
